Information We Collect
When signing up for the service on the Yess website, we ask you to provide your email address. For users who choose to sign in with Google Sign-In, we collect your email address and name as provided by Google. We may collect information about how and when you use Yess. This information include your IP address, time, date, browser used, and the actions taken by you within the application. If you choose to integrate your Google Calendar with Yess, we will access and store information from your Google Calendar, including event titles, dates, times, descriptions, attendees, locations, and other event details. Like most websites, we use cookies to enhance your experience, gather general visitor information, and track visits to our website.
Use of Information Collected
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
To improve our website (we continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you)
To improve customer service (your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs)
Sharing, Transfer, or Disclosure of Google User Data
We are committed to protecting your privacy and do not share, transfer, or disclose your Google User Data with any third-party services outside of Yess, except as required by law or legal process. Access to Google User Data is strictly limited to authorized personnel within Yess for the purposes of providing and improving our services, and for customer support.
Retention of Google User Data
We retain Google Sign-In data (email address and name) and Google Calendar data (including event titles, dates, times, descriptions, attendees, locations, and other event details) for a period of one year from the date of collection. After one year, this data will be automatically and securely deleted from our systems through a soft deletion process.
Deletion of Google User Data
You have the right to request deletion of your Google User Data at any time. Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we will promptly initiate the process to delete your Google User Data from our systems. This deletion will also be carried out through a soft deletion process.
GDPR
The EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) take effect from May 25, and we're happy to comply with this. If data collection is not integral to the way Yess works, then we won’t collect it.
Yess uses administrative and electronic measures designed to appropriately protect your Personal Information against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, unauthorized alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access, misuse, and any other unlawful form of processing of the Personal Information in our possession. Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We cannot guarantee that information about you will not be accessed, viewed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our administrative, physical, and electronic safeguards, subject to requirements under applicable law to ensure or warrant information security.
We will make any legally-required disclosures of any breach of the security, confidentiality, or integrity of your unencrypted electronically stored Personal Information to you via email or conspicuous posting on our Site in the most expedient time possible.
At any time, you may request your information to be exported and sent to you for review, and we promptly honor any requests by you to have your information deleted and forgotten.
